Review Of Luminette 3 Light by Lucimed
TL;DR
⭐️ Rating: 5/5
These are light therapy glasses, and after six to nine months of daily use they've replaced my desk lamp panel entirely. You get the same light exposure without having to sit still twelve to eighteen inches from a box for twenty minutes every morning. There's no battery indicator and the nose fit takes some getting used to, but the effect is more consistent than any light box I've owned.
Pros
- More effective in practice than a light box, since you're actually getting the right exposure for the right duration, which rarely happens with a panel
- Extremely light on the face, to the point I forget I'm wearing them
- Built-in session timer shuts them off automatically
- Battery lasts roughly a week per charge in my use
- Recharges quickly over USB-C
- Durable, survived a few accidental drops
- Travel case is solid quality
Cons
- No indicator for which of the three power settings you're on or how much time is left in the session
- No battery indicator, so it's easy to forget to charge them
- Nose position is ambiguous, sit them slightly higher or lower and you get different light exposure, so you end up adjusting them around
- Ear arms are rigid plastic with no flex or adjustment, which can get uncomfortable

Verdict
"After a decade of sitting still in front of light therapy panels, these are the first thing that's actually fit into my morning instead of interrupting it." - Spencer
