I've been working to be outside more, so I picked up this propane burner so I could cook on my walks outside in the backyard. This is a new experiment, so I wanted an economical model, and this single burner propane is one of the cheapest options currently on the market. You get what you pay for. The pros of this are it's cheap. That is the only pro. The cons: it comes with no assembly instructions, though you're able to figure that out relatively well. The frame is made of stamped metal and is as thin as possible — I would not put a large pot of water on this, as I'm afraid it would get crushed. The regulator seems to be very low quality, which is concerning to me, though I'm using this outdoors so hopefully it's safe. It does come with a complimentary collapsible camping bag, which is probably worth ninety-nine cents but is nice to have. It's relatively adjustable, however even a moderate breeze had the flame blowing out, as there's no wind guard at all, especially while simmering on low. Additionally, this is powder-coated steel, and using a wok, the powder coating on the frame where it touches the pan wore off within the first few uses, and rust is already starting to form. Overall: I plan to keep it as I go through experimenting, but I don't plan for it to last more than a season or two.
